I found this today while surfing the net and thought about sharing it with everyone. Although a lot of these suggestions are common but, I would like to credit the writer responsible for publishing it. This is written by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. Please visit his web site for more information.

If each and every one of us follow or adhere to this list, life will be a much more enjoyable experience and everything will just flow just right. I have more to add to this list but to the expense of not ruining the list, I'd just leave it as is. More...

The value of time
Posted on December 7, 2008 18:06 by menace

There are 24 hours in a day and with approximately 8 hours set aside for sleeping and 9 hours for work, we are left with 7 hours approximately to work with. The good thing about is, whatever your status in life is, every one of us have the same amount of hours to work with. The only difference between you and the next person is how each one of us respond, execute or allocate our precious time throughout our lifetime. It only takes a single idea, or encouragement, or some people often say momentum in order to get the ball rolling. The problem is, we are trapped in our tiny world and succumb to believe that our life is set towards a single path. A lot of us live through the same routine and habitual events. A lot of us waste our most valuable resource of time into things that doesn't improve our being and personal development. Our mind is a powerful thing and it pretty much dictates our willpower on whether we should pursue something or not. Once we believe that something needs to be accomplished (career, new knowledge, education, get better grades in school, etc.) then the likelihood of you reaching that goal becomes easier. It takes time, sacrifices and even failure but with the presence of the right attitude, anything is possible. More...

This simply means that everything that we do is empowered by our belief system, which gives us the proper mechanism to move forward and pursue it. Regardless of any circumstances, our strength to pursue anything that we want to accomplish is only limited to what we set our mind to. More...

Full-time vs. part-time dedication
Posted on February 7, 2008 18:03 by menace

We all know that in order to achieve a certain goal especially gaining muscle or losing fat, consistency is the first thing that comes in mind. Without consistency, nothing else matters and you're just setting yourself up for failure. If you think about, majority of the people who starts their New Year's resolution with a goal of losing weight in mind fail because of their inability to commit to their goal. The lack of commitment in their part only delays the process of achieving success, which therefore leads to sub-par results. More...

Sticking to the program
Posted on January 29, 2008 17:53 by menace

Today is a day when I worked out without my MP3 player and it was almost as tough as it gets since distractions are everywhere in the gym. In my mind, I pictured each set to be more focused on quality rather than quantity. This is probably the main reason why I was able to finish in under an hour. I have noticed lately the increased amount of gym-goers and how this can make transitioning between equipments a lot more difficult. Even at 9 p.m., the gym was full especially the cardiovascular equipments. I was forced quite a few times to do a different exercise since there is no way in the world that I would for another person to finish his/her set. More...
