After spending a few hours this morning trying to figure out what's causing the Visual Studio 2008 IDE to stop responding, I finally figured it out. I didn't fully figure it out myself but I was able to Google it and luckily found enough resources to fix it. Since I spend a lot of time at the road, I needed a way to keep myself somewhat pre-occupied aside from snacking. Most of the time, I tend to be just passive and in a complete blank state. It's like one of those repetitious tasks that you do that is just boring, so you find a way to just breeze through it. I find that listening to mp3 music doesn't cut it anymore since I listen to the same music when I'm working out. A year or so ago, I started listening to Podcasts since it fills-in that empty void when you're not doing something--more so when I'm behind the wheels for lengthy periods. Read More...

Since .NET Framework 4.0 has just been released not too long ago, there’s quite a bit of stuff that has been added, and changes made. Some of the highlights are MVC 2, Entity Framework 2 (a lot of books and articles refers to it as “4” although “2” is still its formal release version), Silverlight 4 and the new Visual Studio 2010 Editor.
